The Portal of Perimenopause
In this lesson, Ginny enters territory that most women end up navigating in the dark: the transition into perimenopause.
Perimenopause is one of the most significant transitions a woman's body and psyche will move through. It reshapes her relationship to desire, to her own nervous system, to the people she loves, and to who she understands herself to be. And yet it is talked about primarily as a medical event; a set of symptoms to be managed, a hormonal problem to be solved, rather than what it actually is: an initiation.
This lesson is for women who are in it, approaching it, or watching someone they love navigate it. It is also for the partners of women in this transition who have felt the ground shift and haven't known how to name what's happening or how to meet it.
Ginny brings to this conversation the same quality of attention she brings to all of her work: the refusal to pathologize what is human, the willingness to look for what a difficult experience is asking rather than only how to make it stop, and a deep respect for the intelligence of the body.
What this lesson offers is a different way of holding what is happening that opens up possibilities that the medical framing alone does not.
